Álvaro Cúria

I’ve been teaching Portuguese for as long as I can remember. For real. It was actually me who taught my sister how to write and read. She was 5, I was 10. Later I decided do it as a job. My background is in Communication, Languages and I’m now finishing my PhD in History. One of my strongest motivations for teaching is to be able to somehow change people’s lifes, opening borders that will help them to better enjoy the global village. I’m also a journalist for a Portuguese national newspaper and when I’m not working or reading I’m wondering how life would be if we could all live inside a Pedro Almodovar’s movie!
