Courses

If you want to join a group class, just let us know. We’ll find out about your language skills through a free Portuguese test and you’ll be ready to start! Our classes are small, with a minimum of 4 students and usually no more than 10.

At Genius Hour, we provide our own materials for the classes. We are friends of the environment so we prefer to use digital contents, making it also more functional to students and teachers.

At class in our school isn’t a simple sitting and listening experience: we’ll let you learn through “serious games”, combined exercises and role play. In more advanced levels, we’ll debate themes, think about problem solving, emerge in real texts (and not only those prepared for the learning of the language) and leave the classroom to contact with the local community.

private clases

If you prefer to learn the language in a private class, whether because you can’t fit on the groups’ schedules or need a faster learning of the language aimed at certain objectives, Genius Hour also provides classes specifically designed for your own needs.
Send us a message and get to know the available options we have for you.

virtual clases

Don’t worry if you can’t come to the school – we’ll meet you where you are. Our virtual classes are designed to offer the best solutions on the learning of the language, using online platforms and the constant sharing of content.

preparation for official exams

Did you sign up for an official exam on Portuguese level and need help preparing for it? We’ll work with you on that. Our teachers are prepared to guide you through the several components of the official exam, showing you examples of real past tests and solving them with you.
